WINEMAKING
The shrivelled but not botrytysed grapes were harvested at the end of October in the Almagyar vineyard. The incoming grapes were crushed and destemmed. Must was settled for 1 day then cold fermented at 10 degrees Co. Fining after fermentation. Base wine was put into 5 hl oak barrels and 20 hl casks for 10 months then blended in stainless steel tank. The wine was bottled in May 2017. The first superior category Leányka wine of the winery.
